Scrivener word counts

You can get the word counts for a group of selected documents by highlighting them a few at a time and then you will see the total word count at the bottom of the editor in Scrivenings view.number. If the documents have word targets themselves you will see that as well at the bottom.

You can select multiple files or even just the folder that contains the files to get a word count. If you click on the word count in the footer you will see an expanded set of statistics.

Clicking the number in the footer will make this appear and clicking anywhere else in the editor will make the view disappear.

You can also display the word counts, character counts, and targets for files or clicking Total Word Counts will show the counts for folders AND files at the same time. See these options in the outliner view by checking those options when click at far right of outliner header.
